Meet the Morgans

We did some tidying and sorting this morning (I look forward to the day that doesn't include this!) and this afternoon we went to see the catchment school. It's right beside the base and has the benefit of some RAF funding and the use of some facilities but is not exclusively for their families. We really liked the school, it's quite a big space but not loads of children. The outdoor area is huge, they have several playgrounds, a pond area and fields beyond. They have a lovely library, a pottery room, a quiet room, a computer suite and a nice courtyard in the middle. They are also not too far away (the village school is 30 minutes walk - they have school chickens there though....worth 2 hours walking a day for me?!) So all in all I would be happy for Amelie to go here and I'm sure they will have space for her. I'm a bit nervous to go and see the village school - I'm sure I would like it too but it's further away and Amelie is already going to be tired from school - do I make her walk 30 mins each way as well? We are going to be doing the walk for nursery but I have to apply for school before she starts so I can't wait and see...decisions decisions!
