Thank You Notes

In a time of emails, texts, Facebook posts, Tweets, I miss people who take the time to write thank you cards. And not electronic ones! Like real cards, at least 'real cards' for my generation.
Getting such a card inspired me to buy a box of cards and start writing thank you notes. I wrote two today. An act of courtesy and appreciation does not help other people. They help you. You do not do such things to save others, you do them to save yourself.
