Mixed feelings

I sometimes amaze myself at how up and down I can feel within the space of a few short hours.

Felt in a good mood first thing at the thought of some interesting things to get stuck into at work; then at lunchtime I felt like having a tantrum because my workplace is just too far from the city centre to enable me to get off campus and back again in my lunchbreak to go down to support the striking teachers outside the Forum in the city centre; early evening saw me meeting up with my Norwich Dandy friends for a catchup session about the forthcoming DandieFest at the end of April.

That was really lovely and thanks to their encouragement and support I felt really positive about what my contribution to the exhibition is going to be so my mood was upbeat again and I'm dedicating this coming Sunday to sort out the details.

Then I got home and suddenly felt extremely nackered and negative so I immediately dived under the duvet to sleep the blues away. It seems to have worked.

This is the extremely tiny fountain in the Square. I've never seen it in action before - I don't think it's the fountain of knowledge, even though it is in the centre of the campus.
