A cottin' pickin' moment
Oh dear - the day started a wee bitty stressfully in that I checked my emails to find a message from the adminstrator saying that my pictures all had the wrong camera date on them, and that the fundamental rule is that the image has to be taken on the day it is entered.
Mine all have - honestly! My Kodak point-and-shoot has been acting up a lot recently, and finally stopped working this week. I thought the rechargeable batteries needed changing, and bought some more, but still no luck.
While I await, with great excitement, the arrival of my new camera, I have been using a school camera. It seems that neither camera is set to the right date, and I might be in trouble.
I first of all wrote here that I needed advice on how to prove my innocence, and that I would hate to be banished into the ether.
Just got a new e mail saying that my explanation (sorry - it was very long winded) was fine and that all should be fine from now on.
I feel that all is now right with the world!
Anyway, depsite the camera probably saying that this photo was taken in 2005, it was, in fact, taken this morning on the lighthouse road, when I went to collect the dried peat with my friends. The bog cotton is fantastic this year, and from a distance, it looks like snow on the hills. This is taken looking up towards the BBC mast.
