Alex at Roslin
It was a beautiful morning so Weemo and I decided to fire up the Harley and head to Roslin to visit the famous Rosslyn Chapel. The chapel became very popular after the publication of Dan Brown's book, The Da Vinci Code and the release of the movie with the same name starring Tom Hanks in 2006.
We ordered some lunch at the adjoining cafe before going into the chapel but, unfortunately, there were no spare tables. However, Alex and his friend kindly allowed us to sit at their table as there were four seats. We struck up a conversation and discovered that Alex and his friend had come on a coach trip from Troon on the other side of the country. Although they stay in the same block of retirement flats, they had never met until today. I told them about Blipfoto and the Wednesday portrait challenge. The lady whose name I never discovered unfortunately, was reluctant to have her photo taken but Alex kindly obliged.
