Sunrise taken from my bed...
... in my Guernsey hotel, which is 2 doors away from Hautevelle House where Victor Hugo (he of Les Miserables fame) lived when exiled in Guernsey. When I woke up the sun was streaming in my window so I sat up, opened the window and took a pic.
I've talen lots of pics today and it was going to be a hard job to decide which to use as my blip. But my old laptop that I brought with me made the decision for me by deciding its disk was full and refusing to download more than half a dozen photographs. So the view from the top of Victoria Tower, a wonderful example of rust at the Salerie Corner, a pic of two old fashioned phone boxes which are yellow because Guernsey use different colours than UK and a photograph of the Town Church and Albion Hotel (famous because they are the closest pub and church in the British Isles) will not even make it to my blipfolio until I get home.
Thank you for so many comments of Mr Baggy Drawers yesterday. I may not be able to comment because yet because there is very restricted internet access here... well it's only available in the bar so if I make comments you'll know I'm treating myself to wine.
