Wheal Prosper at Rinsey Cove

Another soggy morning so the Eden Project won the vote. Unfortunately for us we were surrounded by children from France and Newton Abbot College, and it was difficult avoiding them. We had lunch there accompanied by a male blackbird and a robin oblivious to the fact they were indoors. The blackbird eventually headed to the upper deck and waited for the doors to open before flying into the Mediterranean section.

Late afternoon we were close to base so headed down to Rinsey Cove to stretch our legs and do a bit of surf watching. Apparently the mine was used in the Poldark series, which for you younger blippers was the hit of the 70s, I think.
