Protected

Inverness is covered in roadworks at the moment. If it's not major works like the Kessock Bridge (part deux), or the flood defences, it's little bits here and there as the council look to use up leftover budget improve our roads.

I fancied getting out of the office at lunchtime, so I went for a walk along the riverside. At this part of the river - near the Greig Street bridge - the trees are well and truly protected against any possible damage. The concrete flood barriers are quite high, so hopefully they'll blend in a bit better when they're finished.
