New yellow bush - our back garden

We wanted to replace our Casia bush in the back garden-it wasn't prospering-perhaps a lack of water this year? We went to a local garden centre and bought this "Citisus Piramidad" which was planted this afternoon, and was given a good soak, to help it get established. Hoping this is a xerophytic plant!
