Edinburgh doorstep

Today I put on my 'roadie' hat to drive friend Anne, the artist, through to Edinburgh to deliver paintings to three galleries.

Instead of our usual lunch in Urban Angel afterwards, we'd been invited for a snack lunch at cousin Alison's in Stockbridge. As we left, I noticed these shadows on a neighbour's doorstep.

Tonight I'm out to another concert, this time at Douglas Academy with friend Alison (as opposed to cousin Alison), and tomorrow I'm back in the capital to go and see 'West Side Story' at the Playhouse with D#1, which was my Christmas present from her last year. Can't wait!
