LUMSDEN CUP

So its the Lumsden Cup and the sure sign that the RUMS Netball Season has come to an end.

All the RUMS Sports Clubs are invited to enter a team into the competition; as well as the netball club the main contenders are the Hockey Girls (several of whom play for us in ULU games) and the Rugby Boys. This year the surprise winners were the fisher folk (AKA The Boat Club); some excellent support from a couple of netballers and a couple of the boys who quickly grasped the footwork and obstruction rules were able to use their height to keep on popping the balls through the ring.

RUMS Netball 1sts were very strong finalists supported by a couple from the second team.

A great way to finish the season and to raise money for charity as well
