Something Astir In The Kitchen, Day 3

Ok, this is the last of my kitchen series. The table is laid, the guests have arrived and are eating pate and crackers and drinking sherry or whiskey.

The cake is baked and iced, Happy Birthday to Xtine, I'm sure the recipient will email you a slice.

You can also send a nice birthday greeting to them if their journal entry can be found in time!!!

Edit: We're having a great time, the meal and the cake went down well AND the Birthday Boy blew out all his candles in one go!

Chippy had a great birthday, he enjoyed his cake but couldn't eat a piece for breakfast like I did!
