A card from my daughter

This morning all three children were at school/nursery so I headed off for a jog. I can't jog for very long (because I am so unfit!), so I generally speed walk, then have bursts of jogging along the way.

I went from home along to Mudeford Quay then on to Avon Beach, and back again. I was so proud of myself, I managed 3.3 miles in 45 minutes and burnt 508 calories (or so my phone app tells me). Anyway, as I got near home I crossed the road at a set of traffic lights and tripped and fell over! Nothing serious, but I did graze my left knee and it left a hole in my leggings.

I hobbled home for some TLC from my husband - after his initial concern he chuckled of course.

I soon cheered up when I picked my daughter up from nursery this afternoon and she proudly presented me with this beautiful Mother's Day card. Apparently she was very enthusiastic when making the card and kept telling her keyworker that it was for her mummy.
