FACES IN THE STREAM

Meet Nancy, one of the neighbourhood 'faces' that Mundy incorporates into his drawings. She lives nearby; often seen walking to the Post Office, or happily chatting to people in the popular little bagel shop next door. Quite a busy person, and very observant (you can see that in her eyes, can't you?), Nancy is the type of woman that enjoys organising. From overheard conversations, committees, church teas and flower arranging are her 'special skills'. She appears to be warm and gregarious which can occasionally be overwhelming for nervous types; shy Michael-down-the-road ducks around corners when he sees her approaching. I rather like Nancy, but she despairs of me because I am hopeless on committees.

If you'd like to meet more of Mundy's Faces in the Stream I'll blip them from time to time. They make great winter cop-outs.
