Molly Takes a Drink

Although we provide our animals with plenty of containers of fresh water to drink from the Maine Coons frequently decide to hunt out their own sources. If it is not the dogs’ water container it is the watering can sitting on the old picnic table seat. We keep the watering can full of fresh water at all times. It is fun watching the cats dip a paw into the top of the watering can then busily suck it dry. They do this several times during each session. Even Amelia, our little Birman, has caught on to this rather engaging habit. Here Molly is in the process of bringing her water-laden paw out of the watering can.
