Le Grande Arche

It goes something like this....

Shall we go to La Defense this morning? asks K

It's a hole says A I've been there it's a business district, grey and un-interesting

Have you not seen the Grande Arche?

No, OK let's go, I concede

So breakfast on the way and the tube all the way out to La Defense. Quite an arch, on the same line as the Louvre, Arc d' Triomph etc. However why it's not perpendicular like the rest beats me!

Then the long walk back to the hotel and the train home. A great weekend and thoroughly enjoyable.
