Bouquet For Oso Families

This is a colorful rendition of some hyacinths in my front yard. I did a watercolor on them plus some other filters to make them cheery for this really crazy weather day.

Also these flowers are to commemorate the many who have lost their lives , homes, belongings in the Oso landslide. It's a difficult thing to even begin to comprehend. We are still waiting to hear about a family we knew there who own a nursery and b and b and have an animal farm. I fear the news may not be good as I saw their road was one covered in debris on the news tonight. We are still holding out hope for we aren't sure exactly where the slide went. But we haven't been able to reach them....so our hearts remain heavy ...and also for all the many who have lost so much. These flowers are bright and cheery just as the folks who we know always were.
