Year 40, day 139

Another theme among my photos (besides trees-against-sky and flowers, I mean) is this kind of thing: I think of them as "pavement fittings". Manhole covers, glass bricks over Georgian cellars, and so forth. One day they'll all come together in a glorious textile project.
