Katie cycled miiiilllleeesss today. Home to station, station to ballet, ballet to town, town to ballet, ballet to station, station to home. And didnt complain once!! She had a great time! She was really excited for ballet, danced well. She said her little friend came in to her class and "Did skipping but then sat down for the rest of it". Little friend is moving up from the baby class, gradually. Her and Katie are excited to be together. Katie was even more excited because we were taking little friend with us to the cinema this afternoon. We headed off, her on the bike, friendy in the stroller. A pit stop for a lunch of sandwiches, grapes and big bowls of jelly, then it was time for.... The Muppets!! Katie and I have been looking forward to this for agggggeeeessssss. It was an utter let down. She was genuinely frightened by the over badness of the bad guy and the general bad things that happened. She still very much prefers smaller children's shows, doesnt like bad guys, sad things, frightening things, noisy things. Bad guys really upset her. She liked the first song, the "Muppet ladder to save Piggy from bad Kermit", and talks a lot that "Bad Kermit pretended to be good Kermit and and made good Kermit be that bad Kermit". Plot summed up basically!
