Photographic tour - South Iceland

The first full day of this photographic tour, got off to a slow start. We departed our hotel at 6.15am to catch the sunrise. Unfortunately, the rain and wind put a stop to that.

By mid-afternoon, the sky cleared and the rest of the party had a full afternoon of shooting. I opted out as I was on driving duties. There are miles and miles of straight roads on this island.

After an early tea, we headed over to a nearby glacier lagoon, where this image was shot just as the sun was setting.

Hoping to have better luck with the sunrise tomorrow.
