On the road

During the brief period while it appeared that Indigo radio was to be no more, another radio station spoke to me briefly about taking on the #electronicears show. As they weren't particularly local to me, one of the things we talked about was me recording the show remotely and just sending them the MP3s of the music and links.

Even though Indigo was saved at the last minute, this got me thinking about the fact that I didn't really need to go into the studio to record the show and also that I could record the show with friends of mine who might not be able to make it up to Kirkby Lonsdale (I tend to get around a lot more than most people).

Thus, I've bought myself a microphone and next week I'm going to experiment with recording the show at home as a precursor to recording it out on the road.
