Road Trip

I found this photograph in the museum of the New Forest Visitor Centre. It is called a charabanc and the photo is dated around 1910.
On a nice day, I imagine this would have been a great way to see the forest. The tyres look like solid rubber....must have been a bumpy ride.

Notice how everyone is in their Sunday best and wearing a hat.
