Think Bowl

Daughter R competed today with her school team (pictured here) in the 34th Halton Think Bowl competition. It is a combination of creative problem solving and drama (both of which R loves). There were 23 teams in all; they did not place in the top three but based on their scores I imagine they must have been in the top 5 or 6.

I booked the day off in order to be able to cheer her on, and C was supposed to be in school, but from 2 am on he was up in the night with a gastro bug, so it was hit and miss as to whether I would be able to attend his sister's competition this afternoon. However he perked up and he ended up coming along to watch. He is now napping and I might just follow suit as I slept less than three hours total.
