Just in bud.....

I am longing for these buds to burst out in flower. This tree was a gift from our son and his family for our 40th wedding anniversary last May. I am so pleased it is looking healthy! When I looked closely at this blip I noticed an ant seated comfortably on the stem. Wonder what he's up to - hopefully not damaging our tree! Look LARGE to see him!
