Female? Robin

I think this is the female of the pair of Robins which are nesting in the garden?
There are three feeders providing Meal Worms for the Birds.And of course that is the robin's favourite!
Unfortunately the Starlings are always there first.But now the Robins have learned that this signals the all clear for them to tuck in as well?
The Robins now wait on the patio below the feeders and pick up the food that the Starlings drop.
I don't think Robins are 'Perch feeders' so the food on the ground benefits them greatly!
The ruffled Breast feathers I think are from sitting on the eggs??
