near disaster

Not quite sure why happened but I think I may have stumbled. Anyway the camera bag hit the ground at a funny angle. I didn't look at the camera till I got home after photography club. went to do my blip and I couldn't take the lens cap off. prised it off to find the UV filter in smithereens . so thankful I keep one on the to protect the lens.
