Well I Never!

Despite the fact that we have to walk over the bridge next to it every time we play golf in order to get to the fairway , I've never really noticed this "curiously"-shaped hedge near the 16th tee before today.

At least it gave us something to smile about. Our golfing partner Russell heard yesterday that he'll need 6 weeks of radiotherapy and chemotherapy, followed by surgery to treat the cancer I mentioned in last Tuesday's blip. The good news is that the cancer hasn't spread elsewhere and the surgeons are hopeful that the treatment should do the trick. Russell was his normal positive self, but none of us played as well as we normaly do.
