Last night we discovered that water was pouring down the road. My husband phoned the Water Department and a team was sent out later to sort out the problem.(miracle?) The water was turned off, preventing further damage to the road and drive way.
This morning a team of workmen arrived and took it in turns to dig a hole looking for the problem. Eventually the mechanical digger was summoned and a large hole was dug in the road, the leak discovered, mended and the hole was filled in. The rubble was cleared away and with it went half of the precious paving tiles. (no longer manufactured)
