St John the Baptist, Coventry.

I went with CoffeePotter a week or so ago and submitted a picture of this church I took from Ikea’s car park. We decided then that a visit to the area was definitely going to be worth while.

Today we are back and went into the church along with other buildings of interest in the area. The interior was marvellous to see, the building having been renovated after WW2 when it had lost nearly all its windows in the bombing. This Chimera caught my eye as we walked around ably assisted by a local volunteer guide. Well worth a visit.
