Danish Paper Cut

Paper cuts are seen all over Denmark and can be very intricate and beautiful. The Danish storyteller Hans Christian Andersen was known for making them and carried a pair of 24cm/10" scissors with him wherever he went in order to amuse children or indeed himself.

This simple one was given to us a few years ago by a Danish friend.
