Well blipfoto is supposed to be for one photo. per day and this is the only shot I took today whilst walking through Cowes to an opticians appointment. It's good to see this sort of shop still around.

I had an interesting half an hour at the Optometrists where they have just installed a machine which takes an image of each eye and within seconds produces a digital 3D scam of the inside of the eye. It was fascinating to see cross sections of the eye and optic nerve together with 3D views of the whole eye in great detail.
The scans are used to check the health of the eyes and can give early warning of any likely problems. Pleased to say I got a clean bill of health. I was told that since using the machine as part of the eye test they have been able to refer several patients to the hospital for further investigations, probably saving them from serious eyesight loss in the future. I would say it is £35 well spent for piece of mind.
