Vera- the saddest news.

This morning I had some very sad news on my blip journal, from another blipper. Both Katherinellis and I follow Veraluna , and since Jan 7th Vera has stopped blipping and Katherine and I and others have all been wondering why, and have left messages on her last blip to see if she is ok.

Katherine actually met Vera last year, and thru a search of contacts finally found out yesterday that Vera has passed away.

Vera was only in her 30's, she lived in St Petersburg, Russia, was the wonderful Mum to 3 little girls and has a loving husband. She was a talented musican, home-schooled her girls, taught them German as she grew up in Germany, and the family traveled widely which she blipped about alot, recently in India which was so amazing to see.
She died suddenly of a heart attack.
Vera was one of my first blippers that I followed, and the fact that she was so far away in Russia just intrigued me so much, and our lives seem so different....even though we never met, talked and probably never would I feel like I have lost a friend, and really felt so shocked hearing the news today.
I think the world of blipfoto is amazing, but at times like this I feel a bit helpless , and I do hope Vera's little girls who will be missing their mummy so much are ok , and know that lots of people here thought their mum was wonderful too.
