Waiting for the Rain!

It was hot, muggy and humid today and temps rose to 34! I felt like I was in Vietnam again! Okay be Qld at a stretch... On our afternoon walk I could see how dark it was getting off in the distance. The smell of rain was in the air and it was almost unbearable.

It did come eventually, the light potter patter of drops woke me up in the early hours of the morning, that and I had been cooking with chilli last night and rubbed my eye through the night - OW!!
