Yellow Lichen

Apparently used to be used as a cure for jaundice as it is yellow?!?! How did any of us make it to the 21st century?

I just liked the colour tone of this odd organism - part fungus, part plant (or algae) growing on slightly wonky concrete posts by a railway crossing.
