A day out in Stronsay

Off to the North Isles today with a boat trip out to Stronsay and back. A mixter maxter kind of day, sunshine, cold wind, dark clouds but no rain.

This was taken around 4pm but there was dark clouds above, hence the sombre mood. A mile long beach of silver sand and blue seas. Brilliant!

It was a great day with plenty wildlife, birds and a rough trip to begin with on the way back, but we survived.
