Rocket Man

It's the day before the inspectors arrive for their four day visit to our school. Everyone is showing signs of stress in one way or another.

A little light relief came in the form of "The Rocket Man" today who returned to set off the rockets that he'd built with the Year 6 classes on Friday as part of Science Day.

I have to say it was pretty dramatic! Some must have shot over 100 feet into the air. One even landed on the roof of the school which was a fair distance away. (Not the best photo with full zoom on the iPhone.)

All good fun!!
