There and back again

Daffodil Season

I expect like you, everywhere you drive these days the daffodil are in full swing. Along the verges, outside peoples houses and in their gardens.

But do you ever come across a lone daffodil or small clump on a remote road miles from any habitation of like this clump in the center of a field, and wonder "How did that get here" or "Why is that here ?"

This clump of daffodils are in the middle of Lamberts Castle and they have been coming up every year as long as I can remember and nobody ever picks them or trashes them and every time Mrs M and I walk pass them we wonder why some one planted them here. Our feelings are that someones ashes are scattered there.
