Emergency Daff

My day has mostly gone like this:

Student: but its so BORING

Me: yes, it's revision, its hard work, and sometimes boring

Student: do I have to do it?

Me: yes, if you want to pass your exams

Student: can't you just talk through it again?

Me: No, I have taught it once, now you need to learn it

Student: why do we have to do exams?

Me: you have always known this was a course that ended in an exam

Student: but it's so BORING

And so it goes, again, every year the same.
