Sacrament Burn, Ferintosh

This tiny church is hidden away in the woodland beside the Ferintosh Burn on the Black Isle. The hollow forms a natural amphitheatre and was used for open air services in the 18th and 19th century . Apparently around 10,000 attended the first service there. Open air gatherings are still held there in the summer.
