Blossom

The first blossom has finally come out on one of my greengage trees. It'll be interesting to see if it is going to be a fruit year or not; some years I get virtually nothing and then about once every three years I get a massive crop. If the woodpigeons have their way there won't be any fruit; they seem to find the blossom buds very tasty.
