Sad week

I ended a sad week with a visit to a place I have been meaning to go to after it have great reviews from RobT and AnnW.

Ampleforth college.

Had coffee and cake, a wander round the grounds and a very interesting chat with one of the monks at the visitor centre.

My lovely daughter in law lost her dad this week after much suffering and pain. He had fought so hard and was able to spend some time with Oliver and get to know his grandson, something we did not think would happen, but the last couple of months have been dreadful for them all.
