Battered daffs

It was a lovely sunny day yesterday. Steven spent most of it outside weeding and the daffs were looking stunning against the background of finely hoed, weed free, lovely dark soil.

I should have gone out and taken a pic of them then. But I didn't, and today they are fighting against the wind and hail to keep their heads on.
