"Ermita San Anton"
This is the 17th century Ermita of San Anton who is the patron saint of the village of Canillas de Albaida.
San Anton Abad (also known as St Anthony of the Desert or St Anthony the Great), was a 4th century Egyptian. He is known as the patron saint of animals (along with St Francis) and a fiesta is held every January when all the village animals are blessed, dogs, cats, fish, birds, horses and mules.
This is a photo of the interior of the the Hermitage dedicated to him, a very small building which lies at the bottom of the village and is rarely open. I had to take the shot through a small spy hole in the door through which I could only just fit my lens.
