Old fence and tussocks

Taken just before I entered Lake Lyndon for a late in the day fish. I loved the way the early evening sun on tussock slopes reflected in the lake. I took other landscape images but kept coming back to this one.

Large is more beautiful

It was stunning to stand/sit and watch the light change on the lake and surrounding hills. Fish jumped, popped, slurped, splashed, stalked and did all the things they do at first and last light. It was utterly beautiful.

And at the end we left exactly the same number of trout as there were when we arrived.

1 hour from a high country lake to home. Not bad.
