5 minute tart.

5 minutes is how long it took for the kid's mums to demolish this strawberry tart made for Alessandro's birthday party, while shop bought items were left on the table!

The party was held in a circus tent filled with inflatable slides and climbing gear, where the kids run around without shoes on plastic grass. As the party progressed, lumps of cake, buns etc added interest value to the kid's feet.

I noticed that L, 9 and a half and his cousin, 11, were beginning to chase girls, throwing light plastic balls at them. L was also doing dangerous overhead cartwheels on the boucy slides that were not designed for that purpose. Growing up too fast!

Alessandro was rubbing his eyes a lot. When I checked, his specs were covered in cake so I gave them a good clean with my camera lens cloth.

All very noisy and smelly, but the kids had fun.
