Surveying the scene
We had an ecumenical hoolie in Holy Trinity today - more properly a service of thanks to Dunoon High Kirk for the loan of their hall for 6 months while our church was gutted and put back together again - and instead of trying to take a photo of the assembled multitude I thought I'd have another of the eagle, watching them all arrive.
There was an amazingly big turnout for what must have been the second service of the day for most of us, and this on a sunny afternoon too. The singing was robust and the bunfight afterwards a sterling example of the genre. And at least one visitor confessed to enjoying occasional visits because the acoustics were so much better than he was used to ...
No-one even mentioned carpets. Or cushions.
