Fever
Well, today didnt work out as planned...
The wee girl was up most the night and by 3 was feeling rather hot to the touch. We called the 111 line, the docs called us back (4.30 am) and said we should go to the have a check. We went at 8.30 and were seen after an hoours wait. They were going to send us home but A&E wanted us to go and see them which we did. They said her temperature is high and that as she is so young she should start on antibiotics right away and that she would have to be in hospital for at least 2 days. Sound familiar?! Uuuuffff!!
TM is pretty relaxed and is sleeping and feeding well but we had to go through the misery of a cannula insertion and a lumber punch (the first time we have witnessed this and is was very upsetting...)
We were transferred to a nice ward and into a lovely big private room. Much better than last time. The nurses were lovely.
I popped home to get some things and some food. Angela and I went back together and kept everyone company until we sadly left at 10pm.
We were supposed to be meeting the Pickle today :-(
