Where's the remote????

Mr V has been on nights so when he fell asleep on the sofa early evening I didn't want to wake him. However, his choice of TV programme had a lot to be desired.... but where was the remote? I spent ten mins searching until I spotted it.... he wasn't letting me get hold of it that easily lol!
