"licence to...."

Look who I met tonight!! The bad boy of ballroom himself! :) I'm the happiest girl in the world!

For those who don't know him or those who recognise the face but can't think of his name, this is Brendan Cole - one of the professional dancers from Strictly Come Dancing!

Since Day 1 of Strictly all those years ago, Brendan has been my favourite pro dancer! Never in a million years did I ever think I'd get to see him dance live, let alone meet him in person! But tonight he brought his 'Licence to Thrill' show to the Caird Hall in Dundee and sitting 7 rows from the front I was completely mesmerised!! What a show!!!! I couldn't tell you what the other 4 dancers were doing on stage though - I couldn't take my eyes off him and his dance partner, fellow Strictly pro Aliona Vilani!

He looks and sounds exactly how he does on the TV, however he seems to have mellowed his bad boy image since becoming a husband and father. He's turned into that much of a softy that he choreographed an american smooth and named it after his daughter Aurelia. Aww!

I didn't want the show to end! His 12 piece band was absolutely amazing, the staging and costumes were beautiful and the music choices were just perfect! "The Girl from Ipanema" and "With you I'm Born Again" - my 2 all time favourites from Series 1 and his too!

My patient 15min wait outside the stage door at the end was rewarded with an autograph, this photo and a cheeky little hug! :) What more could I ask for?!! :)

This was a great end to a fairytale, dreams come true kind of weekend!!!
