Filmstrip Window

After a day at the seaside I had the choice of lots of shots, most of them very traditional – sea view, brightly coloured beach huts etc – and one a bit more experimental / weird (/ rubbish).

This image appealed to me as a couple of days ago I was looking at some 50-year-old cine film, and the way this window refracted the image outside reminded me of that effect. Might just be me though... Makes slightly more sense large.

I won't say exactly where I was when I took this, suffice to say that I was standing facing this window when I noticed the effect, and then waited til no-one else was around before I switched the camera on :-)
